Two Sizes Too Small

I got to the junior high today, and found the librarian had broken into my office and set up a Christmas tree after I had been ridiculing her for playing holiday music before Thanksgiving. I still insist there should be more songs about food, but that’s not the point. Christmas needs to stay in the last half of December.

I had to laugh because Jessica could barely even find a flat spot to place the tree, much less an available outlet to power the lights on the tree. She also forgot to set up the tree skirt, so she gave it to me and I relocated the tree to the back corner of my office against a nice brick wall.

They had me along for lunch again, which was sort of cafeteria nachos. I tried taking a bit more care in assembly this time, but still ended up with a big heaped mess. I felt like I had a better amalgam of slop this time though, and it was pretty good.

After work, I went by my parents’ house for dinner then came home feeling less than stellar with the head and now chest cold. Tomorrow is the start of testing for the junior high, and I’m so excited that I just can’t hide it.

And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I want you.
