Porky and Friends

I woke up super early this morning when the power flickered and killed my CPAP again, and decided to just get out of bed. That left me pretty tired the rest of the day, but the hope was that I would be able to sleep at night. Summer got up and we mostly lounged around. We watched a bunch of Wolves of Glendale videos on Youtube, and she eventually left for the gym while I cleaned up and showered. I didn’t feel great after that, but the only thing we really wanted to do was grill something for dinner.

It was pretty hot outside. I got my Anbernic RG DS from Vine and tinkered with it for a bit. We eventually made it to the Neighborhood Market to see what was on sale. We ended up getting some bone-in pork chops, potatoes, and a few more veggies to go with the zucchini and squash that had been on the counter for quite a while. As we were finishing up, Johnny called to say he was in town and wanted to know if I wanted to go out to eat. We had him over to join us for dinner at the house instead.

Summer prepped the veggies and made mashed potatoes while I got the grill started, and everything came together surprisingly well. Everything turned out super good, and the chops were some of the most tender I’d ever made. I had her slice up a fresh pineapple that I grilled on top of each one, so that may have helped them stay moist. It was a great dinner.

We didn’t visit for very long after that since Johnny had to run. I waited until it cooled down a bit more, then took Muad’Dib on a run to my parents’ house. It was gross outside and my Onewheel was slightly low on battery, so we took a short trip home, then got to bed quickly.

Don’t look down.
