Happy Halloween! I got up this morning and dragged myself to
school. It really wasn't all that bad, I suppose. When I got off
for my lunch break, I went back to Ben Nordin's room with him
for a while, and got a nice half an hour nap while he watched
a movie. When I got up, we headed to lunch, and then I went to
my last class. From there I went home until it was time to go
to work. I had to stay a couple hours longer than I wanted, but
I finally got out. I did pretty well on deliveries and getting
tips, despite having to swerve around little goblins haunting
the streets. Angie Jennings and Mallory McKinney stopped by the
store to see when I was going to get off, but I had to take a
couple more runs before I could go. When I finally got off, I
went straight to Angie's house to meet up with them, and then
we came back to my house so I could change back to more normal
clothes. Our first, and actually the only stop we made, was Sarah
Morrison's house. She had some friends over to watch a movie,
and told Angie to get us to stop by. We stayed for a little while,
munching candy or throwing pillows at each other. Mallory had
to be home by 11, so she dropped Angie back off at my house before
she left. Angie wasn't feeling well, so we just lied back and
did our best to relax a bit, and wound up dozing off a couple
times. I took her back home around 12:30, and then came back home
and went to sleep.

Today wasn't so bad. I got up in plenty of time to shower and
head to breakfast. Then after my first class, I went back to Ben
Nordin's room with him and waited until he and Jared Magee were
ready to go to lunch. After my last class, I headed to work for
a bit to check on my schedule, and then went home until it was
time to go to work. My sister decided she didn't feel like coming
home, so I eventually called her and made her come home with the
car. I went to work from 4:00 to close. Kasey Garrison came by
to visit me, or pick up her dinner, which of the two I'll never
be quite sure about. Later in the night, we called up Sonic and
convinced a girl there to come deliver some food to us. It was
funny to see a girl from a strictly drive-through place delivering
to a strictly delivery/take-out place. We had a blast closing
at first, but of course after a while things got long and tiring.
On my last run, I took Sarah, a new girl I was closing with, out
to find the place she had to deliver to, because it was tucked
away in a fairly hard to find place. After we found it, I started
backing up out onto the road. I went right over a ditch and wound
up balancing my rear end on the edge of the concrete, unable to
drive anywhere. I opened the door and stepped way down out of
the car onto the ground, where I found myself face-to-face with
the bottom of the driver's seat. Two guys from one of the houses
nearby came out to help, and then another guy stopped as he was
driving by to help. We got the thing pushed back onto level ground,
and we headed back to the store. We finally got out around 2:30
AM, after I made about 5,000 breadsticks to take home with me.
The dough was on it's last day before expiration, so we were going
to throw it away anyway. When I got home, I showered and got all
cleaned up, and now I'm ready for a nice, short nap before I have
to go to school again.
|
10-29-01
I got today off of work, so I had planned to go out and have
some fun. I went to school, where things went on as usual. After
school, I went straight home where Sarah Morrison was supposed
to contact me. We were going to go hang out for a while, but I
never heard anything from her. I finally gave up and just went
out riding for a bit. I went by Price Chopper to visit Angie Jennings
at work, and then went to my work to see how things were going.
They changed the schedule so I close tomorrow night and Halloween.
I rebel. After that, I went back home and sat around until Angie
got off work. Then I went to pick her up and brought her back
to my house. That's when she found out how exhausted she really
was, and actually dozed off a couple times. The rest of the night
was pretty much a game to see if I could get her to fall asleep
again. After I took her home, I sat around for a little while
longer, and wound up falling asleep.
|
10-28-01
Work consumed about 95% of my day, today. I got up, showered,
and headed straight to work. We stayed pretty busy, so by the
end of the day I had made around $60 in tips. I finally got out
after working just over 10 hours, and headed home. Just moments
after walking in and going to my room, Sarah Morrison called me,
right out of the blue. We sat and talked for a little while, and
she made me flip over to watch Blast from the Past on TNT.
She finally had to go when she realized her phone curfew was up,
so I finished the movie and then went on to finish up my homework
for the weekend. When I finished, I showered and cleaned up to
snuggle right on into bed.
|
10-27-01
I slept through all of this morning after closing at work last
night. Around lunch time, Angie Jennings and I went to Taco Villa
so I could grab some food. While we were there, we saw Beth Scott
and her boyfriend, Josh Whitlow, eating outside. We sat with them
for a little while as I waited for my food. Then I took Angie
back home so she could get ready for work, and I went home to
eat. I had to go to work later in the early evening. After work
I had planned to go out and try to have some fun, but my bosses
had other ideas. Someone else hadn't come in to close like last
night, so they made me stay the rest of the night. I did pretty
well in tips, or at least, much better than I did closing last
night. When I finally got home, I just crashed in bed again.
|
10-26-01
Today was pretty dull as far as days go. I still wasn't feeling
very well. I got up, went to breakfast, and spent most of the
day at school. When I got out, I went home until it was time to
go to work where I spent the remainder of the night. Angie Jennings
and Mallory McKinney stopped by on their way to a Halloween party
thing, which was a tad frightful. Mallory had a spiked hair thing
going on, while Angie looked as though she was simply reminiscing
through her old gothic wardrobe. Later on in the night, Matt Farrar
stopped by all decked out in his Domino's Pizza outfit for a little
while. Travis Simpson and I had a couple of runs to make, though,
so we all left. One of the guys that was supposed to close didn't
show up to work at all, so I got stuck with closing. It was Travis
and me, though, so I didn't mind too much. We had our fair share
of closing fun. He left just before I did, and when I finished
up what I was doing, I headed home as well and crashed in bed.
|
10-25-01
I went to school a bit early today, and had another fairly relaxed
breakfast before my first class. After it was over, I headed back
home for a little while. I went out for lunch around noon, and
stopped by Angie Jennings's place on my way back. We came back
to my house to visit her old bunny, Hazel. We sat outside for
a while, and then went riding around the block for a bit before
I took her home and headed back to my lab. All we did was watch
a couple videos, do something on some computers in there, and
then take the quiz. Afterwards, I ran back home to get ready for
work. My sister was out for the car, and didn't get back until
about the time I was supposed to arrive at work, so I was a bit
late. I took a few runs, made a few bucks, and went back home
again. A bunch of my stuff was thrown out, and my room is a bit
emptier now - not cleaner, but less massive. I got mad and just
sat back in my room for a while. Later in the evening, I wanted
to leave again, so Angie and I went to Subway so I could grab
a bite to eat, and then we went to Old Post Park for a while to
sit back and talk. Before too long, I had to get her back home,
so we headed back. After a little while, I curled up in bed to
warm up for a little while, and eventually just fell asleep.
|
10-24-01
I didn't feel too good at all today. I got up and went to school
as usual. Some foreign guy taught my calculus class because our
teacher was out for some reason. On the way home, I stopped by
work to see what time I had to go in. I continued on home where
I found my mom had taken the liberty of cleaning my room for me.
She went through my file cabinet and most of my desk, and cleaned
out 90% of what I had. Things were shuffled around, she made new
files for new things, and there's a huge stack of papers that
used to be scattered throughout my room out in the living room.
That totally burns me up inside. As if I weren't already in a
bad enough mood, my mom had to go and screw around with my room,
too. I'm so angry at her and so many other things lately. I can't
even find anything in my room any more. I had paperwork and things
placed strategically throughout my mess, and she went and completely
ruined it all. I plan to start locking my room when I leave it
for extended periods of time, but I'll just have to hope she's
not smart enough to figure out how to use a screwdriver to open
the stupid door. All I want her to do is leave me the heck alone.
I sat around until it was time to go to work, went to work for
about 5 hours and made a good amount of money, and then returned
home to resume my bad day. I piddled around for the remainder
of the evening, finally cleaning up for bed. I'm too mad to make
any sense of any work I should probably be doing.

10-23-01
I was still feeling pretty good today. I got up, went to a nice,
relaxed breakfast, and went to class as usual. After that class,
I followed Ben Nordin back to his room to see if Jared Magee wanted
to go to lunch. They both wound up falling asleep, so I just did
a bit of homework and went to lunch by myself. I got out of my
last class about half an hour early and headed home where I lied
around listening to loud music for a while. Jason Huynh was going
to come by, but I never saw him. Angie Jennings and Charlotte
Zimmer came by and cow-napped me, taking me to KXRJ's studio to
visit Matt Farrar during his show. Travis Simpson was also there
broadcasting random sounds over the airwaves. For some reason,
things started getting a little rough between everyone, so we
left and came back to my house so I could get the bike and go
to Taco Villa for some food. We came back to my house again where
I ate while we all sat outside. When I finished, we decided to
go to Shakey's for some "custard." I still think it's
ice cream. We hung outside there for a while, and then followed
Charlotte back to her dorm room. We sat around there for a while,
and then I dropped Angie off on my way home. My dad had taken
the car in for new tires, which he had to partially pay for, despite
premature wear, because of a misalignment. Now we'll have to take
the car in to fix the alignment. The bills just seem to keep stacking
up around here. Not too much later, I tuned into KXRJ, 91.9 FM
for Mr. Wendall and the Fat Man. When they went off the air, I
headed to the shower and got ready for bed. I'm not feeling too
well any more, so I'm hoping I'll just pass out in bed in a few
minutes. This whole "good day" thing just isn't happening
any more.

10-22-01
I got up on time today and got on the computer for a while. I
was still in a really good mood. I sat and talked to Angie Jennings
and Sarah Morrison most of the morning until they had to head
to school. Then I finished getting ready and headed out myself,
making it in time for a 5-minute breakfast, and then getting to
class right on time. Everything else went on as usual. After calculus,
I headed home for only a short while, and then went out with Travis
Simpson and Angie to the coffee shop. While there, I gave Clayton
Paty and Janine Randles rides around the block on my bike, which
seemed to thrill or terrify them, either of which was fun for
me. Somehow, while I was riding with Janine, I managed to lean
too deep into a turn and scraped my right foot peg. I bounced
right back up, though, and all was well. After hanging out at
the coffee shop for a while, Travis had to go to work, so Angie
and I went to visit Sarah. She came out, and we went for a walk
around her block, which was mostly uphill at about a 45 degree
angle. When we made it back around to her house, Angie had to
head home, so we went back to her house. We pulled up right as
her mom was leaving, which worked out perfectly. We laid in the
grass and just talked for a while, relaxing in the comfortable
autumn air. Then we rode to the store to get some Yoohoo and string
cheese. We went back into her house and munched on that, and then
laid around her room for a while. I showed her the wonderful world
of Poke
the Bunny, but for the most part we just sat around lazily,
which was really relaxing for me. After a couple hours, I headed
home so she could get her homework and such done. The rest of
the night was pretty boring compared to everything else that's
gone on lately. Late in the evening, I showered up and got ready
for bed. I'm still happy.
|
10-21-01
I slept all morning and most of the afternoon today. I got up
with a bit of a headache, but nothing too bad. Things didn't start
off too well, though. I was scheduled to go into work at 4:30,
but my mom was angry at me for some reason. All I can figure is
that she was mad that I drove up to Mt. Nebo this morning, and
that she saw my midterm grades. She got into a stubborn, immature
fit about things, and took the car so I couldn't go to work. She
told my dad she was going to go in to Papa John's and explain
to them that I wouldn't be coming back because I wouldn't be driving
again, but when I called in, my boss said he hadn't seen her.
When she finally came back, she didn't say much to me. She eventually
came in and tried yelling at me about things a bit, but my her
points were too irrational to be good, so she backed off. Since
I wasn't going to work, I relaxed a bit in front of the TV because
I was still feeling a bit lazy from my wacky sleep schedule. Late
in the evening, I rummaged through some things for my psychology
test, showered, and got ready for bed. I'm happy.

10-20-01
I got up this morning, showered, and sat around for a little
while. Travis Simpson invited me to go to Hastings with him, and
then out to eat. I rode out and met him there, where we ran into
Thomas Hollingsworth, Jon Robison, Blake Lawhorn, and Mitch Graham.
Travis got a CD, and then we went to Ci-Ci's to eat while he wore
his Papa John's hat. After we ate, he made me play a game of S.T.U.N.
Runner, an old racing game you sit on like a motorcycle, with
my helmet on. Then we went back to his house for a while before
we had to get ready for work. When I left, I stopped by Price
Chopper to see Angie Jennings, but she was on break or something,
so I headed on home and got ready for work. When I got to work,
I realized my watch was about 20 minutes off for some reason,
so I wound up getting to work 20 minutes late. When I finally
got out, I went home to change and then went out with Angie for
a while. We rode by the coffee shop to see who all was there,
and then back by work to see when Travis was going to get off.
He was still making runs, so we went by Domino's to see if Matt
Farrar was working. He wasn't, so we went by Sarah Morrison's
to see her for a while. I thought it might be a bit too late by
then, so I just lightly knocked on the door. She stumbled on out
and sleepily greeted us. Her mom came along shortly and invited
us in, so we went up to Sarah's room to decide on our plans to
go see the sunrise the next morning. We laid around for quite
a while as she showed us a box full of pictures and other different
things she had around her room. Eventually we left again and ran
around trying to find Travis. Unfortunately, we never caught up
with him again. Angie and I gave up and just went back to her
house to rest for a while before we headed out to see the sunrise.
After a while, I headed back home to shower and get ready to go.
Angie and I decided to just give up on Travis since we couldn't
find him. I left the house around 4:00, got Angie and Sarah, and
went to the store to get some fruit to munch on while we were
up on the mountain. We made it up in plenty of time to lie back
and watch the stars for a while. We all huddled close together
on the bench to stay warm. Sarah got to see her first falling
star, and then all three of us caught sight of another fairly
long and bright one. Then we made our way down to the rocks to
sit back and watch the sunrise. That's about when it started getting
cloudy, just as it did last time I tried to go see the sunrise.
The sky came to a dull glow, and we knew we had missed it. While
we were down on the rocks, someone came by and took a picture
of something in our direction. When we left, I noticed it was
Travis Anderson with a new digital picture, wanting to take a
picture of a tree he had apparently grown quite fond of up on
the mountain. From there, we went to Danger Bluff to show Sarah
some of the stuff we had climbed around on before. Sarah and I
stayed up top while Angie climbed around for just a bit. Eventually
we decided it was time to head back home, so I took Sarah home,
then Angie, and then returned home myself around 8:30. I stayed
up for a little while longer, and then went to bed.

10-19-01
I'm glad it's the end of the week. I need a break. I got up a
little late, but still made it to breakfast and class. When I
got to my lunch break, I went back to Ben Nordin's room for a
while to finish up a bit of homework I had to do. When we finished
our work, we headed to lunch. Ben tried to drop off his science
paper on the way, but our teacher wasn't in his office. Then he
had to go to work, so he gave me his paper to turn in, grabbed
a burger, and ran. After lunch and calculus, I headed home and
finished up my paper. When I finally got it done, I went to turn
it in, and then went to work. I got a call before I left asking
me to close, and stupidly I accepted. I hadn't taken into account
my lack of sleep or pure feeling of exhaustion. I made it through
alright, though. We got out really late because I had to close
the front of the store, something I had never done before. When
I got home, I crashed on the couch and went to sleep.

10-18-01
Today was a much needed short day for me. I got up late, went
to a nice, leisurely breakfast, and went to class. After that,
I went back to Ben Nordin's room for a little while to see if
Jared Magee wanted to go grab some lunch. He wound up going out
to eat with Matt Farrar, so after a while, Ben and I went to lunch.
After that, I went to the library for a while to try and work
on my science paper. Eventually it came time for me to go to my
lab, which was pretty boring as usual. When I finished, I headed
on home. My dad said the guy that worked on the Mustang didn't
have any luck with the guy he thought took my stereo, so I'll
more than likely wind up getting a new one to replace it. I called
Sarah Morrison to see how she was feeling, because she seemed
pretty stressed out earlier in the day. I didn't get to talk to
her for more than a couple seconds though, because she said she
had a lot of studying to do, which wound up consuming the remainder
of her evening. I had quite a bit of work to do on my science
paper as well, so I was up all night working on it.
|
10-17-01
I got up a little late today, so I had to skip breakfast and
go straight to class. It wasn't too bad, though. At the beginning
of my lunch break, I went to Ben Nordin's room with him for a
little while where we spotted a little mouse scurry across the
floor. He freaked out a bit, but I tried to catch it. There were
too many places to hide, so I never found it again. After lunch,
and then my last class, I went home and sat around for a while.
I was in a much lighter mood. Later in the evening, we got a call
saying the transmission work on the Mustang was done, so my dad
and I went out to pick it up. On our way out, we noticed something
was missing. Someone swiped my CD/MP3 car stereo. After rummaging
around a bit more, I also noticed that two identical pairs of
sunglasses were stolen from the center compartment, and possibly
a Metallica CD I had in there as well, but I'm not completely
sure that was in the car to begin with. We went back up to the
guy's house and talked to him about it. He said he knew who did
it, and sent a gang of people after him. Unfortunately, he can't
really prove he did it, and I don't have the serial number for
the stereo. He said if he couldn't get it back, he'd replace it.
My dad and I headed on back home, and he told me the speedometer
didn't work. I didn't use it that often anyway, but it still wasn't
good. Then I headed on out to see Sarah Morrison. We went out
and talked for a while, and then I dropped her back off at home.
When I got back home, my dad called the police to report the missing
stereo. Without the serial number, we can't prove it's mine, but
I know exactly what my personal mix on the CD was that was in
the player, and my model was pretty rare, being a CD/MP3 player.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see if anything develops from
all of this. I sat around on the computer for the rest of the
night, showered, and eventually made it to bed.

10-16-01
I got to school in plenty of time today. I went and had breakfast
before going to my first class. Then I went back with Ben Nordin
to his room and hung out with he and Jared Magee. Ben left, and
after a while, Jared and I went to lunch. After that, we went
back to their room for a little while before I headed back to
my last class. After that, I went home and just laid around for
the rest of the evening. I watched a few episodes of the Samurai
Pizza Cats I had downloaded. Jason Huynh dropped by for just
a second to borrow some CDs, and then Mallory McKinney came by
with Angie Jennings to drop off my helmet that Angie had used
last night and took with her when she went to Conway with Travis
Simpson and Matt Farrar. They stayed to talk for a little while,
but then went to visit Matt at his radio show. Later, Sarah Morrison
called and talked to me for a little while, but she quickly got
bored of me sitting there quietly, so she went off to talk to
someone else. I wasn't feeling well, so later in the evening,
I curled up in bed and just listened to Mr. Wendall Sweet and
the Fat Man on 91.9 FM, KXRJ. I called in to request a song, and
actually fell asleep to it about half an hour before their show
was over.
|
10-15-01
I wound up sleeping in today. My mom came by and woke me up around
10 minutes after 8:00, so I just skipped my 8:00 class and went
to breakfast before my 9:00. Everything else went on as usual.
After school, I went home for a little while, and then went to
my chiropractic appointment. He still couldn't figure out what's
wrong with my fingers and why they're numb, so he just said I
don't need to come in again unless it gets worse and I start getting
pains in my arm. After that I went back home until Angie Jennings,
Travis Simpson, and Matt Farrar were ready to go hang out. We
decided to meet up at Angie's house, and I was the first one there.
We played pool until the others got there. Then we went to the
Cracker Barrel to eat. Afterwards, we went to Hastings for a while.
They all decided to go to Conway, so I went home for a while again.
I tried to go to the choir concert, but got there long after it
had ended. I returned home and sat shivering in front of the computer
for a while before showering and getting ready for bed. I'm tired,
I'm cold, and I still feel like crap. Bury me.
|
10-14-01
I got up fairly early this morning, showered, and went back to
bed for a while. Travis Simpson and Angie Jennings woke me up
later by messaging me on MSN Messenger. They wanted to go out
to eat, so I cleaned up and met them at Dixie Cafe. Just before
I left, my little cousin, Randy, called and asked me to swing
by and help him with his new CD burner. After going out to eat
with Travis and Angie, I rode by his house and tried to figure
out what was wrong with the burner. Not able to figure anything
out, they decided to let me take it home and try it out on my
computer. After I left his house, I stopped by Sarah Morrison's
and finally got to meet her parents. They were really nice, and
then Sarah and I sat around in her room until I had to head back
home and get ready for work. Again, I got out a bit later than
I had hoped, but we just got too busy for me to leave. After I
got home, I changed and went with my dad to take the Mustang in
to have its transmission replaced. We finally found the place,
and I got to ride the bike over gravel, dirt, and mud. It wasn't
too bad, and we had a nice, chilling ride home. I sat around for
a while, got bored, showered, and now I guess I'll try to get
some sleep before I have to do that whole "school" thing
this week.

10-13-01
I woke up this morning when a manager from work called and asked
me to come in early. I only had to go in about half an hour earlier
than I was scheduled, but then later in the day, I wound up having
to stay for quite a while longer than I had hoped. I worked on
into the night, and on my last run, I wound up getting my car
stuck on a steep hill on soft ground. I kept spinning out, so
Travis Simpson came to take me to deliver the pizza I had to take,
and then we went back to the store to clock out. He dropped me
off at home, and my dad and I went back to get the car out. After
a bit of pushing and eventually toeing the car out with some good
old rope tied to the back of the van, we got it out and my dad
went to pick up my mom at the Wal-Mart parking lot. Travis and
I talked about going up to Mt. Nebo with Angie Jennings and Sarah
Morrison for the sunrise tomorrow morning, so I went home and
tried to get a hold of them. Sarah came online and got permission
to go, and called me to talk for a little while. After I got off
the phone with her, I went to Travis's house to see if I could
catch him and let him know that Sarah wanted to go in the morning.
I caught him just as he pulled up, and he said he would call me
to work things out. I headed back towards home, driving by the
coffee shop and then by work to tell my boss I had gotten the
car out. Travis called a little while after we got home, and decided
he didn't want to try dragging his truck up the steep mountain
since I couldn't get the car. Eventually I just crashed in bed.

10-12-01
I got up early this morning and got ready for school. I headed
off, had breakfast, and went to class just like every other time.
The monotony is killing me. After everything was over, I headed
home for a while. Later, after the high school let out, I went
by to see if I could meet up with Rachel Trusty somewhere. We
walked around and talked for a while, which made us both feel
a bit better, I think. She was wound up from all the stress at
school, and I was just continuing my down from yesterday. My bike
blew a fuse, and later wouldn't start. I got it fixed, though,
and rode back home and got ready for work. The battery had a loose
connection that my dad fixed while I was at work. I had to close,
so I was at work all night. I eventually just crashed in bed in
the early hours of the morning.
|
10-11-01
I was glad I had another short day today. I still got up early
though, so I could go to the high school for a while. I helped
my old Spanish teacher, Mr. Murdock, with his web page for a while.
It was sprinkling a bit in the morning, so I got pretty wet. After
I finished up there, I headed to class. Nothing special happened
for most of the day. After my first class let out, I went by work
for a little while. At one time, a cop pulled up past me and hit
a big puddle, soaking my right leg. I went home for a while and
tried to dry off a bit, but it didn't work too well. Eventually
I had to go back to school for my science lab. It had stopped
raining for the most part, so I got a bit dried off on the ride
there. After that, I headed back home and got ready for work,
which wound up consuming the rest of my evening. I think I may
have an oil leak in the car from when I bottomed out once at work,
and I just really don't feel well right now. I just want to go
to sleep and forget about things.
|
10-10-01
I got up a little late this morning, but I got ready in plenty
of time. My sister still hasn't learned that I can't teleport
myself places though, so she got to school just on time, and I
was late again. I skipped breakfast, so I was hungry until I finally
got out for lunch. After my last class, I went by work to check
my schedule, and then went home for a little while before my chiropractic
appointment. I waited for 25 minutes or so before I actually got
worked on, and then I had to go pick my sister up from school.
We went home to grab some things, and then went to the Suzuki
shop to pick up my bike. She left to sell some candy for French
class, and I went by Angie Jennings's house to show off my new
tires. She sprayed some anti-water stuff on my helmet because
I was riding in the rain, and then I went home to get ready for
work. Sarah Morrison wasn't feeling well, so I called her to see
what was up. She was really upset about something, so much, in
fact, that she hung up on me - twice. I was already going to be
late for work though, because my sister hadn't come back with
the car until the last minute, so I had to leave. I was scheduled
to close, but I asked another guy to close for me so I could get
out early and go check on Sarah, plus my mom doesn't like it when
I close on school nights. When I finally got off, it was too late
to swing by Sarah's house, so I just went home and met up with
her online. She was much better, so the worry was over. I tried
to talk with her for a bit, and later in the evening I finally
crashed straight into bed.

Today started out decently enough. I got up and took my sister
to school, came home, slept for a little longer, and then went
to breakfast and science. On my lunch break, I went to put some
gas in the car because it was at least an inch below the E on
the gas gauge. I pulled into the gas station and had to wait in
line behind another car before I could pull in. Then some old
guy pulled in, looked at me, went around to the other side, and
slid in right as the other car was leaving, taking up all of the
room in front of both pumps. I refrained from flipping him off
and just waited until the next car finished before I backed in
and filled up. Then I went back for lunch and finally went to
my last class. After I got out of there, I went home for a while
before I had to go pick up my sister. I got my other tire in for
my bike, so I had my dad call in and see if they could replace
it today, but instead we had to take it in tonight and will stop
by to pick it up tomorrow. Angie Jennings told me that Rachel
Trusty hadn't been feeling well, so I went back to the high school
a little early to see how she was doing. I never found her, so
I went out to get my sister and took her to her dentist appointment.
The entire way there, I listened to her express in various four-letter
words how I should act, where I should be at various times of
the day, how she is always right, how I'm a bad driver, and of
all things, accused me of stealing money from my parents. Here
I am delivering pizzas to earn some spending money of my own while
she's going away on trips with wads of our parents' cash to blow
on massive amounts of food, and she has the nerve to accuse me
of stealing money. I don't know where she got it, but it absolutely
made me blow up inside. For whatever miraculous reason, I managed
to keep quiet the whole time and take every bit of what she unleashed
upon me. I didn't scream back at her, argue back, or curse her
very existence. I simply took her to her orthodontist appointment
and waited outside for nearly an hour until she was done, and
took her home. I was so incredibly angry inside, but it all managed
to boil down into nothing in the end. When I got home, my dad
and I went down to the Suzuki place to have my tires replaced.
With any luck, my bike will be ready tomorrow afternoon after
I pick my sister up from school. I spent the rest of the evening
sitting back and listening to music. Needless to say, I wasn't
feeling well, but there was nothing I could do about it. I tuned
in to Lucky and Clover's show, immediately followed by Mr. Wendall
Sweet and the Fat Man on 91.9 FM, KXRJ. I called in to request
a song I hadn't heard in a while, but was refused, so Jared Magee
came in over the song that was already playing and dedicated it
to me. After the show, I showered, wrote a bit, and am finally
ready to immerse myself into complete unconscious bliss.

I was in a pretty good mood for most of today. After only a couple
hours of sleep, I had to get up and get ready for school. I was
feeling really sick when I first got up, and thought about skipping
my 8:00 class. Not only was I not feeling well, but my sister
didn't get ready in time, so I was 15 minutes late to class after
dropping her off at school. I skipped breakfast, so I was hungry
all morning, and I still felt a little sick. By some miracle,
I didn't fall asleep in any of my classes. I spent nearly all
of my two hour lunch break in the cafeteria, sitting around, eating
lunch, and working on calculus homework. After that and going
to calculus for my last class, I headed to Papa John's to work
on my cross-training guide book until it was time to go pick up
my sister from school. I went a little early so I could make sure
she was getting out and didn't have band practice or anything
going on after school. We finally got out of there and headed
home where I laid around for a while. When my dad got home, he
reminded me of a checkup appointment at the chiropractor to see
if my numb had was getting any better. I missed the original appointment,
so I just went later in the evening. My hand's still numb, and
my back hurts. From there, I came home and laid around watching
TV. Sarah Morrison called me to talk for a little while. She tried
to read me some poetry from W. B. Yeats. Of course, being poetry,
it all went over my shallow head. Then she left, and I went back
to watching TV and lying around. Later in the evening, I got to
feeling a little down, partially from pure exhaustion. I showered
up and am about to go visit the little pink bunnies in dream land
again.

Today was pretty boring. I slept most of the day, and spent all
afternoon sitting around my room. Later in the evening I had to
go to work. The highlight of my day was getting to deliver a pizza
to Danielle McKinnon's house, whom I had been talking to online
for a while earlier in the day. I also got to take a delivery
to a new friend of mine, Patrick, that I've got a couple classes
with. I got to close again, so I was there all night washing dishes.
Tips were low-to-average, although I did have a couple high tippers.
I got home around 2:30, feeling a bit sick. I showered and got
to bed around 4:00 in the morning.

Today was pretty fun. I tried to get up early, but I wound up
falling back asleep every time I got up. I wound up waking up
late and was 15 minutes late for work. I only took a couple deliveries,
and afterwards was assigned to go doorhanging with Travis Simpson.
We were supposed to stick coupons under the doors of every dorm
room at Tech. We did a couple buildings and headed back because
I was going to go to a fish fry with my dad. His department at
work was having their annual fish fry. I got home from work and
got ready to head on out. We ate and went out into a field to
shoot some model rockets. It was great fun as usual. When we finally
started heading home, I dozed off a bit in the car. There wasn't
a whole lot to do when I got home, and I was freezing, so I curled
up in bed and went to sleep.

I got up early and went off to school as usual. I had a quick
breakfast and headed on to class. Mitch Graham had a flat tire,
so when I got off for my lunch break, I gave him a ride home.
I heard that Sarah Morrison had gone home sick, so while I was
out, I stopped by her place to see how she was feeling. She seemed
to be doing alright, so we sat around and enjoyed each other's
company for a while. I headed back to school in time to grab a
burger for lunch and head on to my last class. After that, I headed
home, stopping by work to see what time I had to go in. One of
my bike tires was delivered, so that was just more towards my
already high spirits. I headed on to work, where a guy offered
me $50 to close for him. I accepted, not having anything else
planned. Eventually, through no chain of no certain events, my
night turned really sour. I felt horribly down for virtually no
reason. I made a delivery to a real jerk in a hotel, but that
only bothered me a little bit. I just felt bad. After work, I
came home and just crashed in bed.

Today was another pretty decent day for me. I had a light schedule
again, so I got to sleep in a bit. I got up to take my sister
to school, went home for a while longer, and then went to breakfast
and my first class. After that, I went to the high school for
a while to kill some time. I stopped by first lunch and talked
to some people there, and then went to Mr. Murdock's room for
a bit. He had some problems getting his computer's microphone
to work, but I couldn't figure it out in the couple minutes that
I was there either. I went to the journalism room for a little
while, and then went to second lunch. After that, I headed home
for the rest of my break. I got on the computer for a while, watched
some TV, and wound up falling asleep for a while. Luckily, I woke
up just in time to head back to my physical science lab. It took
slightly longer than I would have liked, so after I got out of
there, I had to run home and head straight to work. I made a few
decent tips, and got off after only a few hours. I ate a bit of
dinner, sat on the computer, and watched some more of the Star
Trek: The Next Generation marathon. There's just no better
way to fall asleep than watching the Borg try to take over the
universe.

I had a pretty good day today. I got up and ready for school
early, but my MSN wouldn't log on, so I just skipped that and
went to breakfast before heading to class. I got out of all of
my classes just a few minutes early, going to lunch, and then
home after my final class. My dad and I went to the bank, and
then to register my motorcycle. We had to go back and get another
signature from the wife of the guy I bought it from, and then
I got my license plate. You can try to look for KP 444, but it'd
probably be more affective to just watch out for a green streak
of lightning passing you. I won't be around long. After heading
back home, Chris Lomax came over to borrow a CD. We went out to
look at my bike for a bit, and then he went home. I ate dinner
and then headed to work. I had to stop for gas, and then realized
I left my wallet at home, so I called my dad and had him bring
it to me so I could pay for my gas and head to work. Travis Simpson
was to play in a band at the coffee shop, but I didn't get off
of work soon enough to go see him. Nearing the end of my time
at work for the night, I took an order from some guys in a hotel
in town. The guy seemed really nice - so nice, in fact, that he
offered me an invitation to go smoke some weed with he and his
colleagues. I gratefully declined, much enjoying my head screwed
on at least partially straight. I headed home, replaced the license
plate on my bike, covered it back up, and went back in to sit
on the computer for a while. Eventually I showered up and got
ready for bed, and now I plan to fall asleep to some good, old
Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Today was a great, short day for me. I got to sleep in an extra
hour or so, had my dad drop me off for a quick breakfast, and
went to class. After that, I went to the library for a little
while, and then went to lunch. After a couple hours of that, I
went to my last class, and then sat by a tree for half an hour
to wait for my dad to come pick me up. From there we went to pick
up my sister, but being stopped by a train, my mom decided to
do a bit of grocery shopping first. Then we picked up my sister,
about half an hour late as well, and went home. It was pretty
dull sitting around at first, and then Sarah Morrison called and
made things much more fun with her musical antics. We talked on
into the night until around 9:00 and waited until it was time
to tune into 91.9 FM, KXRJ to listen up on the Mr. Wendall Sweet
and the Fat Man show. I called in, sent a song out, and then got
a song from the DJs themselves. After their show, I showered and
went to bed like a good little kid.

10-1-01
That's a really fun date to write. I got up early and showered
before heading to school. I made it just in time for a quick breakfast,
and then headed to class. As soon as I got off for my lunch break,
I ran to the high school to pick up a copy of my transcript. I
met Sarah Morrison outside, dressed up all girly-like. I didn't
get to stay long, because I had to hurry home with my transcript.
On the way back out to the car, I ran across Rachel Trusty, whom
I hugged quickly, and then scurried off to the car to run back
home. When I got there, my dad called to find out some information
about where my Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship had to
be delivered to. We were delighted to hear that they would accept
my application as long as it was postmarked by today. I filled
everything out and had my dad mail it off, and called Jared Fitzgibbon
to let him know that he no longer needed to worry about delivering
my package. I fixed up a bit more paperwork that had to be done,
and then ran back to school in time to grab a quick lunch before
my last class. When I got out from there, I went by Angie Jennings's
house to see how she was feeling. She was only a little better,
but I hung out there for a while anyway. We called Travis Simpson
to see if he wanted to go hang out, but he wasn't home. I went
back home and sat around for a while. My dad called the chiropractor
to make an appointment for me because my hand is still numb, and
possibly getting number as the days go by. It's either stiffening
up a bit, or simply getting numb to the point that it feels funny
to move it. Later, Sarah called and talked to me for quite a while.
Travis and Angie were going to come hang out for a while, so I
invited Sarah along as well. Travis went to pick her up, and I
went to pick up Angie. We waited around for a little while before
they showed up, and then we sat around and goofed off for a while.
The first thing Sarah did was pull out some geometry to work on,
so we let her finish that up before we got too loud. Travis got
on the computer for a while, followed by Sarah, and when I finally
got on, I pulled up some movies to watch. Jason Huynh stopped
by to drop off my dad's drill set, and hung out with us for a
little while. We all just sat around and talked, listened to music,
and watched a very short part of Starship Troopers. Eventually
Sarah decided it was time to head out, so she and Travis left,
soon followed by Jason. Angie and I sat around for an hour or
so more before I took her back home. I laid around my room for
a while longer before getting ready for bed. I'm glad I have short
classes tomorrow, and I have the day off from work. Sleeping in
is fun.
