My sister was late to her morning detention this morning, so
she got another two days of it. I still feel like crap. I just
want to sleep, that's all. Nothing really happened at school.
Late in the evening, I tuned in to KXRJ
FM to listen to Matt Farrar and Jared Magee do their little
show. I called in several times since nobody else in town would.
I finished up Frankenstein. Now I feel like I'm about to
die.

2-27-01
I could barely breathe this morning when I woke up. My head's
been stopped up all day. It doesn't look like I'll be through
with this crap any time soon. I brought another case of Bawls
with me, plus some cups for our yearbook party. I looked like
I was going to set up shop somewhere in the halls and start giving
free samples of Bawls or something. A portable refrigeration unit
would be nice. I went to visit Mr. Lonon's class for a bit. Rachel
Trusty finally tried a sip of my Bawls, and made a funny little
face. It didn't help any that the stuff was fairly warm. I really
need a way to keep the stuff cold when I sell it. After that I
went to Mr. Payton's class and sold a couple bottles. Cassie Hilgerson
said the one I gave her yesterday got her bouncing off the walls.
After school I went to work for a short while just for a meeting.
Sarah Hindsman and I are on contract work now, so instead of going
in to work on stuff every day, we get assigned a project to take
home and work on for a certain amount of money. When I got home,
I didn't really feel well enough to do anything. I eventually
brought myself to do a quick little project for work, but that
was about it. I feel like crap.
|
2-26-01
I got up this morning, got ready for school, and headed out the
door with my backpack and a case of Bawls. Not much sold in the
morning, but I got rid of them all after lunch. Right after lunch,
I went to see Cassie Hilgerson to see how she was feeling. She'll
at least talk to me now, so that's a good sign. I still don't
know what's been bothering her though. After that I spent an hour
or so in the darkroom cleaning up some stuff. Then I wandered
around for a while, stopping in on Mr. Payton's class for a bit,
and then into Mr. Lonon's class for a short while. After school
I went to work for a few hours and worked on a site I've been
working on for them. I worked on the new version of this site
for a little while when I got home, but for the most part I just
rested. I'm still not feeling so great. Hopefully I'll be finished
with whatever I've got by the end of this week, but somehow that
feels unlikely.
|
2-25-01
Not too much happened today either. For the most part, I spent
the day wandering aimlessly around the house. I started massive
work on a new layout for this site. After that I actually started
working on homework. A part of me is ready for school tomorrow.
That part of me has 3 cases of Bawls to sell. The other part of
me (yes, the part that has no Bawls) desperately wants another
day of rest to restore from the nasty effects of having the fever,
flu, or whatever the heck I had. Is it too early in the year to
ask for a snow day?
|
2-24-01
I wasn't feeling well at all this morning, but I've gotten a
little better throughout the day. Nothing happened today, either.
I didn't really feel like doing anything, so I pretty much laid
around in my room and watched movies all day. Hopefully I'll feel
good enough tomorrow to get some work done.
|
2-23-01
I woke up with a bit of a cough this morning. I got out of English
during first period so I could go to the EAST Lab and help out
a couple people that were trying to learn how to use LightWave.
Nothing much happened the rest of the day. Luckily I was able
to take it pretty easy. I'm glad the weekend's finally here. I
desperately needed some time to rest and make up some work. After
school, I went straight to work and finished up what I was working
on yesterday. I was feeling a bit feverish, so I got my paycheck
and came right home. I got on the computer for a little while
and then took a nap. After that I was feeling a bit better, so
I decided to finally go up to Thomas's house to pick up my 3 cases
of Bawls. My fourth case is being shipped directly to my house.
We talked for a while, and then I left to go to Sarah Conley's
house. She was having a little movie party thing. We all piled
up on the floor or on the bed and watched a couple movies. It
was pretty fun, but I got pretty tired and decided to head on
home. After I got home, I went straight to bed.
|
2-22-01
I've been pretty tired most of today. I had quite a bit of makeup
work to do, but I finished a bunch of it. One thing that really
bothered me today was that Cassie Hilgerson was avoiding me all
day. I finally caught up with her one time just to say, "Hi,"
but she brushed me right away. I'm not sure what happened, but
all I can figure to do is just leave her alone until she wants
to talk to me again. I spent a couple hours in the darkroom just
to chill for a while. We're done with the yearbook for the most
part, but I just needed to take some time out from the rest of
the world. After school I went to work for a few hours, and then
came home and did some homework and stuff. I don't really feel
like going to school tomorrow, but I'm not just going to stay
home just because I don't feel well.
|
2-21-01
I had an alright time today. I didn't have to go to any classes.
The art club went on a trip to the Little Rock Art Museum. I pretty
much stayed with Beth Post, Sarah Wade, Laura, Cassie Hilgerson,
and Clayton Paty. We got to go on a little tour around the place,
and then we got to wander around ourselves. A guard there was
kind enough to follow us around and make sure we did little more
than breathe. He jumped on us for just about anything we did,
but in the end we got him to pose with the gang so I could take
a picture of them. After that we went to Arby's for lunch. There
was a guy sitting right next to where the bus parked, so after
we ate, the other guys wanted to get something to bring to him.
Unfortunately, he wasn't there when we got back. We stopped by
the gas station where everyone seemed to be meeting to get ready
to load back on the bus. A couple of them got some candy, and
they all had some fun with it on the way back home. After school,
I went to work for a little while. Then, yet again, Sarah Hindsman
was kind enough to give me a ride home. Tomorrow I actually get
my car back.
Later in the evening, I tuned in to the local radio station KXRJ
FM 91.9 where Matt Farrar and Jared Magee were doing their
weekly radio show. A little while into listening to them, they
started whining about nobody ever calling them, so I called and
talked for a few seconds. I didn't have a request, so I just asked
them to pick something nice out for me. If anybody ever needs
an ego boost, call these guys. After the song, they got back on
and completely blasted me with good comments. It was great fun.
I don't know what the heck it was that they played for me, but
it was definitely interesting. After that song, Matt made a comment
on our trip to the art museum today, which of course made me drop
my head flat onto my desk. I couldn't believe he brought it up
right out of the blue like that. Right after that, they played
a remake of "I Think We're Alone Now" for me. I encourage
everyone to tune in to these guys every Wednesday night from 10
to midnight on FM
91.9 or online on KXRJ-FM's web
site.

2-20-01
Today's been somewhat of an interesting day. Before class started,
I went with Cassie Hilgerson to her locker and just sat there
to read a page or two of Frankenstein for English while she started
reading a little book of her own. Then we went to class, and classes
were pretty average. During 5th period, I went to the EAST Lab
to talk to Thomas Hollingsworth for a bit, and then went to Mr.
Payton's class 6th period since I had nothing else to do, and
sat there with Cassie and Bryan Connerly. A few people gathered
around to form a little group, and we sat and talked some, as
they didn't have much planned for the day either. After school,
I went to work for a little while. I didn't have my car, and my
parents had gone grocery shopping when it was time for me to leave,
so Sarah Hindsman was kind enough to give me a ride home. After
we both got to our computers, we played around on NetMeeting for
several hours. We got video and audio to work pretty well, so
we had fun making faces at each other. Later in the evening, Sarah
Conley got on to talk to me for a bit. She and the rest of the
gang down in Little Rock for the EAST Lab conference thing seem
to be having a great time. I wish I could have gone to something
like that. I just remembered that I have an art field trip all
day tomorrow, so I guess I won't have to worry about my homework
for now. I'm getting 3 cases of Bawls tomorrow, and I was hoping
I could get a few to bring along on the art trip. I guess Scooter
and all you other Galloping Cow visitors will just have to check
back tomorrow to see how things went!

2-19-01
This week, on "As the Cow Gallops," our hero, Michael,
finds himself caught in a trap by the evil queen of darkness.
He is dragged into the darkest depths of the dungeons before the
sun ever begins to rise, and is forced to produce massive numbers
of prints for the high schoo..er..evil empire's yearboo..er..dungeon
logs. Not long after, he is saved by the heaven-sent toll of bells
from above. To be continued, next time on "As the Cow Gallops."
This must be the first soap opera you've ever seen that nobody
has cheated on anyone and no guys have fled the country because
they've impregnated their second cousin. I had to go to school
early to make some prints for the yearbook. I didn't actually
get anything done in the morning, but that was alright. Brandon
Vaughn and I printed what felt like a million pictures during
5th and 6th periods. During lunch, I wandered around with Cassie
Hilgerson for a bit before going through the line for some food.
Jared Fitzgibbon's usual group had all dispersed elsewhere, so
he, Cassie, and I sat down at a table to eat. We were soon joined
by a couple of Cassie's friends. After school I met up with Cassie
again, and she had written me a little note. That was fun, because
nobody ever writes me notes, even if I write them first.
 |
Here's to my friend Ketchup - a joke that will remain meaningless
to those of you that are not Jared Fitzgibbon, Cassie Hilgerson,
Rachel, or me. Meanwhile, enjoy the drawing. |
After school I went to Staples and got a new web cam and
a package of CDRs. After that I went to work for a few hours
and got another little paycheck. I'm enjoying this whole "I
have money" thing. |
|
2-18-01
I woke up late today, and have been too tired to do much for
most of the day. I guess I was still tired from the LAN party
last night. I looked at a Staples circular and saw a bunch of
nifty stuff, so I may pay them a visit tomorrow. Other than that,
nothing big has happened today. Just a lot of computer, TV, and
laying around. I needed a rest day anyway.
|
2-17-01
Today's been an extremely long day. I didn't really care about
the tournament when I woke up, so I just lazily sat around for
a while. Mitch said they had some Bawls, so I finally decided
to go ahead and go, but when I got there he said he lied about
the Bawls. I wound up having a pretty good time for the most part.
There weren't any prizes or anything, but I got to hang out and
have a decent time. Jared and I went to McDonalds so he could
get something to eat, and we saw Lynn Wink and Christi Bauer working
there. After the LAN party was over, a few of us went to the Waffle
House. I don't care what anybody says, that's a freaking scary
place to go. Now I'm dead tired, so I think I'll actually get
some sleep tonight.
|
2-16-01
I'm glad that the weekend is finally here. I didn't have to do
much in school, so it was a pretty nice day. I got there late
again because my sister was slow getting out of the house. Things
would be so much easier without her. I spent a couple hours in
the darkroom making prints. After school, I walked around a bit
with Rachel Trusty so she could give me a summary of her week.
We walked out to her car in what felt like tiny shards of glass
falling from the sky. After that, I gave Bryan Connerly a ride
home and watched the tiny shards of glass turn slowly into mushy
blobs of white crap splattering all over the place. I was supposed
to go cover the basketball game because it was senior night, but
I guess Brandon Vaughn decided to cover it, so I didn't have to
go in after all. On into the wee hours of the morning, I went
to school to pick up my sister from her forensics trip or whatever.
I drove slowly past Cassie Hilgerson bouncing and shivering in
the cold, and poked kind fun at all of the people that were still
waiting for their rides to show. My sister was whining, so I had
to take her home instead of getting to stay and talk for a bit.
Now that I've been deprived of my friendly human contact, I'm
going to go to bed.

2-15-01
Today's been a long day. I got a bunch of prints done for the
yearbook, and after school I went to work. I worked on a page
there and had some fun. After work was when the real excitement
began though. When I tried to pull out, my car sank into the ground.
I tried several times to go back and forth, but I kept digging
myself further and further down each time. I finally went back
to see if I could get a little help, so my bosses and two of their
kids came out to try and help push me around. We all got quite
muddy and wet, so it was quite an interesting situation. I've
caused way too much trouble now. Of course, I was grateful for
them coming out and getting all muddy to help me. Next time, I'm
either going to install jet thrusters so I can take off vertically,
or perhaps just park on solid ground. After stuffing everything
but the pet cat under my tires, I got free and was able to come
home. I showered and cleaned up the car, so now I'm tired enough
that I think I'll go to bed early. Tomorrow's Friday, so I get
to go take pictures of the basketball game, and then I get to
go to the LAN party on Saturday. That's enough to keep me busy
for quite a while.

2-14-01
Happy Valentine's day, everyone! Today was an overall good day.
Classes went on as usual, and I didn't have an overwhelming amount
of work to do. Ashley Hardin made my day when she gave me a Valentine
card and sucker at lunch. I spent some time in the darkroom working
on some pretty nifty things. I got a little bored, so I made Cassie
Hilgerson a little Valentine print while I was in the darkroom.
I made a heart stencil and printed a picture of her on the inside
of it, and then wrote a note around the edges. It didn't come
out quite as well as I had wanted, but I still got a big hug when
I gave it to her. She and Sarah Wade were eating large amounts
of canned whipped cream that someone had, until Sarah spewed a
mouthful of the stuff all over the place. It wasn't too messy,
but you could see a tiny clean spot on the lockers where Cassie
was sitting. They got into a little whipped cream fight and got
all messy. Sarah had a face full of the stuff. After that, I went
on home to get ready for work. I didn't see my sister anywhere,
so I figured she had gotten a ride, but when I got home my mom
said she had called. I rushed back to pick her up, take her home,
and then went to work. I only stayed for about an hour working
on something, and then my dad called to say we were going out
to work. Not having anything else to do at the moment, I went
on home so we could go to New China to eat. When I got home, I
played around with the Cow Cam some, so now the image is quite
a bit larger and more colorful. Check it out!

2-13-01
Today's been fairly exhausting for me. Classes weren't too bad,
but I was just tired all day. I spent an hour or so in the darkroom
making contact sheets for basketball pictures. I found one of
my sheets with my computer nerds negatives in it, and fixer had
leaked all over it. The silver on the negatives had dissolved
off, so now the negatives have splotches and blank spots everywhere.
It's a good thing I had already made the prints I needed for my
spread, but it still would have been nice to keep the negatives.
Jessica Brown was kind enough to stay and keep me company while
I worked in the darkroom. I found out she just recently got internet,
so I talked to her on AOL Instant Messenger and ICQ later that
evening. After I finished in the darkroom, I went to Mr. Lonon's
class for a bit to see what they were up to. After school, I walked
around with Cassie Hilgerson for a while. When she decided to
go back to her after school drama thing, I went outside to wait
for my mom to pick me up. Janine Randles was standing out there
as well, so I went to talk to her for a bit. Some little kid was
annoying her, so we walked together out to the middle of the parking
lot trying to lose him, and then we walked back. Then my mom got
there to pick my sister and me up, and we went to Kroger. I decided
to stop by the dollar shop next door just to see what they had.
It was a pretty big place. Then I went to Kroger to meet up with
my mom and sister. Checking out, I saw Chris Sanderock over in
another line, so I went to talk to him for a few seconds before
we left. A little while after we got home, my sister had her friend
Lyadonna and Sam over to watch a movie. I just stayed in my room
for the most part. Kerryn Johns was on "That One Show"
again, so I watched that to see what crazy thing she did this
time. Mallory McKinney called and we sat on the phone silently
for a while before I decided it was time for me to go do my homework.
I'm sure when daily logs get this long, nobody wants to read them
any more, but you're stuck with this format until I decide to
rebuild the site. The next site will be much better, I assure
you.

2-12-01
I had a pretty good day today. I got up early and got to school
on time. Nothing greatly unusual happened. My satire went over
well in English, and then we watched a video that Dustin Summey
and his group had made. They were very resourceful in the making
of the video, and I was impressed as usual. I left my normal lunch
group for a little while because I saw Jared Fitzgibbon sitting
over by himself at his normal table. I went to talk to him until
he decided it was time to go to class. Then I went back to my
group for a little while, and then over to talk to Kerryn Johns
for a bit before class. I spent a bit of time in the darkroom
developing a roll of film, and then wandered around the school
until 7th period rolled around. We didn't really do anything in
there either, but it was a lot of fun. Mr. Bradley had a computer
set up with a TV display on a big cart, so I opened up paint and
drew some nice pictures for the class. After school, I helped
Rebecca Brown carry a few plants out to her car, hung around the
school for a little while, and then went to work. It was an alright
time there, but what I was doing got a bit boring at times. After
work, I came home to an empty house. Not in the mood to dig out
leftovers, or just sitting around the house by myself, I decided
to go to Sonic for a spicy chicken dinner, and then stopped by
Jared's house to hang out for a while. After that, I came home
and talked to quite a few people online. I don't have to work
tomorrow, so I get to come home and sleep, which I should probably
be doing now as well. This Saturday is the next Quake III Arena
tournament. I encourage everyone to come. Sign up at www.damagegaming.com/q3.

2-11-01
I woke up a little before noon today, which gave me quite a bit
of time to sleep. My whole family was getting ready to go to Fort
Smith for a surprise wedding reception for one of the top members
of the Fort Smith magic club. We all piled into the van and drove
up there, stopping by a deli in Fort Smith to get a couple party
trays that were ordered for the party. It was actually a lot of
fun sitting around and chatting. We had cake, deli sandwiches,
pineapple punch stuff, and cookies and snacks. Several people
got up to perform some magic for the crowd of people that had
come. We spent the whole day up there. On the way home, I was
tired enough to doze off for a while. When we got home, I went
straight to my room and started on my homework. My main project
was writing a satire for English. I decided to bash the high school,
and the school board and district since I couldn't think of anything
better to satirize. I think this is going to be one of my last
extremely busy weeks, as we finish up with the yearbook. We've
still got the spring supplement to work on, but that shouldn't
be too much of a problem. After school, Sarah Hindsman and I have
work at Merimage. I'm not expecting anything out of the ordinary.
|
2-10-01
I woke up around noon today. I was tired, but I eventually got
up out of bed to do some work on my computer. I moved the site
over to my new server, and hopefully by Monday or Tuesday I can
have a guest book set up. It won't be much, but it's my first
attempt. I installed some programs to learn so I can use them
at work. My day consisted pretty much of playing with those programs
and watching TV. Jared Fitzgibbon dropped my CDs by that I had
loaned him the other day. My sister went out running around with
her friend Lyadonna. They brought Sam Bishop here once or twice
I think, but I stayed in my room for the most part. Later in the
evening, Brandon Vaughn came by to pick up a camera flash so he
could take pictures of the dance. After that I watched some TV
and napped because I was so tired. I started to wake up a little
and looked over to see Mallory McKinney peeking around my door.
Of course, my initial reaction was to wonder what the heck she
was doing here. Then I heard all about how her night went and
stuff. We just sat there for a while until Sam had to take her
home. Then I got on the computer to talk with Jared about how
his date went. I have a big day ahead of me tomorrow, and I think
I'm going to wish I had some Bawls. God help me.
|
2-9-01
I had a pretty good day today. I had a million and one things
to do, but I got it all done by the end of the day. Things worked
out pretty well. At lunch I wandered around for a bit instead
of just sitting down in one place. Then I spent 3 hours working
on the yearbook. I even stayed after school for quite a while
to finish up. After that I went into work about half an hour late.
They didn't have me do anything, because they just wanted to go
over some things about how we've done so far. I'm slow and I know
it, but I'll get the hang of things very quickly. They went ahead
and wrote us up our checks just so we'd have a little money in
our pockets for now. The excitement didn't last long, because
after I was finished there, I had to go take pictures of the basketball
game at the high school. I didn't get home until maybe 8:15 or
so, and when I first turned on my computer it did a nice little
memory dump. It started up fine after it did that, but it's still
annoying to see it go through that. Something's not right. I installed
a couple programs to play around with for work, and I'm having
quite a bit of fun with it all. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a chance
to play with some stuff to put on this site.
|
2-8-01
I woke up really late this morning. I accidentally left a disk
in my computer, so instead of starting up and playing my Winamp
alarm, it sat there waiting for me to remove the disk and press
any key. I jumped out of bed, got dressed, and ran out the door
with my sister. I got to my class just a few seconds late. My
day was fairly busy, especially yearbook. I've got a lot of work
to do tomorrow in there as well. After school I went to work from
like 4 to 7. They gave me some space on their server, so hopefully
this weekend I'll have some time to play around with CGI and some
other nifty stuff for the site. After work, I came home to work
on a bunch of homework I had. Now I'm not feeling all that well,
and I'm really tired. I think I'm going to go to make sure I didn't
leave a disk in the computer, and then go to bed.

2-7-01
Today's been an exciting day. I got up early to get ready to
go to school to work on the yearbook. Before I could go, I had
to take my mom to the Wal-Mart parking lot to go to Tunica. After
I dropped her off there, I went to Stoby's to meet Eric Duerr
for breakfast. It was my first time to ever eat there, and it
was quite good. After that I went to school and spent several
hours in the darkroom with Mallory McKinney and Brandon Vaughn.
We got a huge row of prints done in there, but unfortunately quite
a few are duplicates that we can't use. A bunch of the negatives
weren't really good enough to make prints from. On the way home
from that, I saw Sarah Hindsman driving to work. A little while
after I got home, she got on MSN and said they wanted me to come
in to work, so I went in and had quite a bit of fun. I really
think working there is going to be a lot of fun. Sarah and I will
make a great team, and I like the couple we're working for. They
started me up with working on a page that needed several revisions
done. I decided it would be faster for me to just redo the entire
site, so that's what I'll be doing for my first project. When
we finished up there for the night, I came home to an empty house
and fished myself out some leftovers for dinner. Now I'm just
listening to a bunch of goons on Tech's
radio station (91.9 FM in Russellville, AR). Matt Farrar is on,
so I thought I'd listen in on the fun they're having there. They
have an online
broadcast as well from their web site. Everyone go listen
to them having fun making fools of themselves.

2-6-01
School was alright today. Not too much happened, but I managed
to keep busy through most of the day. After school I walked around
a bit with Cassie Hilgerson until she left. Then I went back inside
and saw Rachel Trusty showing off her new glasses. She couldn't
decide which of two pairs she liked more, so she was trying to
get everyone's opinions. After that I walked her out to her car
and talked with her there until my mom came to pick me up. When
I got home I was really tired. Mallory called and we talked for
a while trying to decide what we wanted to do. Eventually I went
to pick her up around 7:00 and we came back to my house to watch
a couple movies until I had to take her back home for her 12:00
curfew. We watched Young Frankenstein and then some random stuff
on TV. Jason Huynh kept calling asking for computer help. Apparently
a friend of his had bought a used laptop and was having problems
getting an operating system installed. Then Mrs. Little called
to say we have to make about 75 prints tomorrow for the yearbook,
so I cried and Mallory offered to come help in the darkroom. I'll
be at school for a full day tomorrow, so I can forget about sleeping
in. I started to take Mallory home around 11:30, but I stopped
to get some gas before we went all the way back to her house.
While we were there, Sarah Hindsman and Eric Duerr pulled up to
see me. Eric had a communication failure earlier in the day, so
he needed a place to crash for the night. I took Mallory home
and then met them at the coffee shop on the way back home so he
could follow me home. Now I need sleep before I have to wake up
early tomorrow to go to school on what should be a day off.

2-5-01
Today was a nice and slow, yet busy day. I got a lot of work
done, but there's still a lot left to do. A bunch of people came
up to me asking if I was selling Bawls, and unfortunately I had
to tell them I wouldn't have any until later in the week. We got
out of school like an hour or so early I think, but I still had
to wait for my sister to finish at band practice before I could
go home. While I was waiting, I went outside to hang out with
Carlos Meredeth and Cassie Hilgerson for a bit. When they left,
I went back inside to wait. Right after I got home, my aunt called
to ask me to take her to GoodYear to pick up her van. When I came
home, my dad said that I got a call from Merimage,
the place I went for a job interview, so I called back and found
out that Sarah Hindsman and I were the two that got the jobs.
My first day is Thursday, and I'll be working from 4:00 to 6:00.
I guess for now it's just going to be training to get me used
to what I'll be doing. After a while I had to go take pictures
of the basketball game, but before I went to the game I went to
Sonic to grab a bite to eat. I like having Bawls money to spend.
I finished off my roll of film and then came home to find that
Mallory McKinney had called. I called her back and talked with
her for quite a while before she had to leave. I worked on TutSky's
page for a couple hours, and now I'm too tired to do anything
else.

I had a bit of fun today. Most of the afternoon was pretty boring
because I didn't have anything to do. I got mad at my computer
because it kept going through these nice little memory dumps every
time I did anything to the system. I've finally gotten it to run
fairly smoothly for the time being. Mallory McKinney called to
talk for a little while, but then she had to go and never called
back. Then Sarah Hindsman called to say her computer died again,
so she wanted to come by to pick up a CD. Later in the evening,
Rachel Trusty told me about a little Mercy Me concert at the First
Baptist Church here in town, so Jared Fitzgibbon and I went to
see that. We headed out in somewhat of a rush, so I forgot to
tell my parents which CD to give Sarah when she came by. I guess
they figured it out though, and she got what she needed. The concert
was kind of fun because we got to go out and mingle amongst masses
of people. I kept wishing I had brought some Bawls, because I
was hot and thirsty through most of the concert. I probably would
have even pepped up a bit to start dancing a little. When I got
home, I called to apologize to Sarah, did my homework, and relaxed
for a bit before I had to come to the realization of the reality
of the necessity of my presence at school tomorrow. Perhaps I
could quit school and become a full-time Bawls salesman.

I woke up around noon today. It must have been sucky movie day,
because all day I saw nothing but really corny shows and movies.
Later in the evening, I went to see the band Refuge play at Heart
and Soul. I brought along my case of Bawls to sell. I only sold
a couple there, but afterwards we went around town for a bit.
First we stopped by Shakey's, and then went over to Higher Grounds.
Everyone left me, so I just stayed at the coffee shop for a while.
I hung around there for quite a while before I got bored of just
standing around. Nobody seemed to want to talk to me, so I just
came home. Through the course of the night, I sold all but 3 bottles
of Bawls, so I'm hoping to get a new case sometime soon. I should
really buy a pallet of the stuff. If I had the money, I definitely
would. I could sell all 60 packs of it easily. I just don't have
the money for the initial cost of buying the pallet. Hopefully
I get the web design job that I applied for here in town, and
then I can buy a pallet of Bawls. I would be one happy camper.

Today's been a long and interesting day. It started out like
any other. I went to school and went through classes in what was
otherwise an ordinary day. At lunch I went out to Jon Robison's
car to get a big case of Bawls I had bought. I had the box out
for less than an hour before I was completely sold out. I gave
a few out to some of my best friends, and gave a few out to some
people I know really well that promised to pay me back on Monday.
I took about half of the case of 24 bottles down to the journalism
room after lunch, and on the way I got mobbed by people wanting
to buy some. After I made it to the journalism room, I only had
about seven or eight bottles left, so I sold a bunch to the people
on yearbook staff. A couple minutes later, Josh Higgins came down
wanting to buy one from me, so I was out. Fifth and sixth periods
were cut short, and seventh period was completely removed today
for a pep rally. I went for a little while, but then went back
down to the journalism room because I didn't feel like sticking
around for the whole thing. After school I took my empty case
of bawls out to the car where my dad was waiting to take me home.
When I got home, I chilled for a little while before heading over
to Thomas Hollingsworth's place to buy another two cases of Bawls.
He offered me two cases for $30 since I helped him out with some
stuff one time. After that I headed over to Higher Grounds to
see who was there, sold four bottles of Bawls. I felt kind of
bad stealing the coffee shop's caffeine business, but I don't
think anybody was actually going to open their bottles until later
anyway. I saw Rachel Bewley, Kelli Henderson, and Jennifer Hawkins
sitting around a table, so I went to talk to them for a bit before
going over to the high school to catch the last of the game and
then go to the dance. I met Mallory McKinney over there, and we
both wandered around for a bit taking pictures. Mrs. Hefflin,
my calculus teacher, saw me bouncing around a bit, so she pulled
down a little mask they had up for decoration and put it on me.
I was goofy fun with my Bawls, but they wouldn't let anyone go
back to their cars. I was quite upset about that, because several
people came up to me wanting to buy some Bawls. When Mallory and
I finally finished with taking pictures, we bounced around for
a little while before we got too extremely bored, and then came
on back to my house where we watched a part of a movie before
I had to take her home. Overall it was a pretty fun night, just
going around and hanging out.

I didn't get the car today, but I didn't have too much of a problem
with it really. It was a bit inconvenient, but I survived. Classes
weren't too bad, but I still got a bunch of work done. I got pulled
out of first period a couple times to take pictures of the choir
for the yearbook. I was running around doing things all day. Yesterday,
Mrs. Hill wrote a note on the board about a lady in town that
was going to hire a couple web designers, so I finally called
today and went to a nice little interview at 3:30, right after
school. I didn't even get to tell my parents until my mom actually
came to pick me up. We didn't have too much of a problem getting
there though, and I had a pretty good time talking to the couple
about what they do and what I would get to do if I were to get
a job there. Working there would be great fun since I'd be doing
more of the stuff I do anyway. I hope I get the job for a couple
reasons. One is that I'd like more money to buy more Bawls. Two
is that it'll give me a little experience with actually doing
something instead of just playing around on a silly site like
this. Three I haven't quite figured out yet, but I'm sure it has
to do with buying more Bawls. Mallory McKinney called me after
I got home, so we talked for a little while until my family decided
to go out to eat at New China. After we got back from that I called
Mal up again and we talked for a couple hours or so. Jared Fitzgibbon
had failures in just about every component of his room, so he
came over to use my awesome working computer, scanner, and printer
for a bit. It was quite fun just sitting there chilling. He was
on the computer doing work and chatting, I was laying in bed reading
my history chapter, and Mallory was talking to us over my speakerphone.
I'm excited now. Bawls, going to the colors day dance with Mallory,
Bawls, possible employment in the near future, and Bawls. Despite
my constant obsession with Bawls, I'm going to sleep now.
