We got out really late today, but made it in just fine. I was pretty quickly up and around, fixing a couple things in Heaven’s new office and then for Rhonda’s daughter downstairs. It was busy, but a bit relaxing to be able to move around some. I stayed busy all day, so it went by quickly. My main project while I was at my desk was to get favorites and bookmarks managed in Edge and Chrome.
We went to Taco Bell for a late, small lunch. Then we had cake for Amanda’s birthday when we got back. The afternoon was uneventful, and then we took the second exit coming home to try and avoid the traffic. Summer was home not feeling well, so she was on the couch all evening. She acted like she wanted to go out for dinner, but then didn’t, so I ate some leftover roast and then took Muad’Dib out for a run when it got cooler out.
I tried to stay behind Muad’Dib for the entire run, so he could lead the way he wanted to go. He covered most of our usual path, but he skipped most of the same bits we skipped yesterday. It felt awful and humid out, and I just wanted him to hurry anyway. We briefly visited my parents and then got home well after dark. Summer had gone to bed before we even left, so I wrapped up early.
